Site favicon has now been merged into core, you will no longer need a plugin to add a?favicon to your WordPress site.

What is a site favicon? That’s a good question.

Many site owners who depend on ?theme options to add a favicon to ?their site, often lose the site favicon when switched?with another theme.?That is not the best.

Here is how?to add a site favicon to your WordPress site. You will need to follow these steps carefully:

1. Find a suitable image you wish to use on your site. Your logo or something.
2. Click on Customize under the Appearance?tab in your WordPress dashboard.

4. Choose the site icon?you want. The next window will allow you to crop the image to the shape you want.
5. Save your work.
